Jeremy Schewe, Founder and Creative Director

As the Founder and Creative Director of Inchanted Journeys, Jeremy has been leading international sacred site retreats, socio-economic service trips, and conservation-based eco-adventures for 10 years. Jeremy is an ecologist, botanist, tree keeper, and community activator who has worked around the world for the past 15 years with indigenous and at-risk communities. In this capacity, he has helped to develop large scale conservation plans and improve socioeconomic opportunities for indigenous communities.
Jeremy is a carrier of the Light of Erin, or Solas Gael na hÉíreann in Irish which is a Connacht branch of the Celtic Twilight, rekindled in the 19th century by WB Yeats, Lady Gregory, AE Russel, Edward Martyn, and more. Jeremy helps sustain a bridge between the Celtic Otherworld and the contemporary one. Jeremy is the essence of this alchemy of earthen-fire – a bio-luminescent fire that is life giving and sustaining – not requiring copious amounts of fuel or attention to sustain like a bonfire or forge fire. This is a fire that is cool to the touch and gentle to gaze upon.

Jeremy has helped to found several other ventures including Unaka Environmental, LLC, and Ecobot, Inc. Jeremy is an avid outdoorsman and athlete. He has 23 years experience practicing and 15 years teaching Qigong and Tao-Yin meditation. Jeremy helps gather energy and people together in powerful, and often, life-changing experiences.
The Light of Erin helps gather nutrients, energy, dreams, and visions from the far reaches of the multiverse bringing vital material closer to home, where it can become humanifest – taking root, spreading branches leaves & flowers, and bearing true fruit that nourishes life. Like mycelium coursing through the moist earth, connecting the forest in the underworld, this bio-luminescence helps the World Trees connect deeper and further. It has been here since the beginning of time.
In 2017, Jeremy completed 21 years of study in Celtic alchemy and traditional ecological knowledge through Solas Gael na hÉíreann. His journey through heritage, including his Irish-Catholic roots, has helped many people find their own path in discovery of place of origin and sanctuary. Jeremy also has an inherent connection with plant spirits and natural communities, and is tasked with being a “voice for the voiceless – representing the seen and unseen who have no voice – in the counsel of humanity”. In the remembrance of heritage, it is known that when our ancestors’ lands were submerged beneath the rising seas, that the original peoples sailed forth in great rainbow ships to the seven “corners” of the earth. Each was tasked with stewardship of portions of the original knowledge, codices to unlock their memory, and the seedlings of the primordial forest to plant as the World Trees. In this life, Jeremy is securing the lands of these ancient peoples and re-weaving together the rays of the rainbow.

Jeremy has also been fully immersed in studies, fieldwork, and teaching of ecology, botany, herbology, shamanism, and qigong, as well as Nordic, Sami, Hindu, and Mayan traditional ecological and mythological knowledge for over twenty-one years, building on the base of twenty-one years of youth in a very socially and spiritually active Catholic community. Jeremy is a certified herbalist from the Global Academy of Holistic Healing in Flagstaff, Arizona, under the tutelage of Delfina Rose.
With a college-prep high school education with the Jesuits at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Warren Wilson College, he is an advocate for conservation biology, ecological restoration, and social justice projects around the world. Jeremy’s ecological work and travels have enabled him to live near, study, and absorb the stories and mysteries surrounding many prehistoric sites such as Neolithic megaliths in Europe, Early and Middle Woodland period ceremonial sites in North America, and Classic Period Mayan sites in Central America.
As a record keeper of Celtic traditional ecological lore, Jeremy has co-hosted the cross-quarter Celtic fire holidays perennially for over 12 years in Asheville, North Carolina, while also leading contemporary Celtic rituals, founding the Wildman & Wildsoul retreats, teaching Celtic mysteries, creating potent soundscapes, and leading pilgrimages to sacred sites. He has also taught college level ecology and orienteering courses

and is a certified Qigong instructor through the Institute for Integral Qigong & Tai Chi (IIQTC) in Santa Barbara, California, and has been teaching weekly classes and workshops for 12 years. Currently, Jeremy is tracking the fluid and dynamic nature of time in the multiverse in respect to heritage and points of entry into the timeless nature of the soul. In 2017, Jeremy published his first book, Ports of Entry, in respect to this and is currently working on a second book in respect the the Irish-Celtic mysteries.
