Ireland: Beltaine 2027
April 27 - May 9, 2027
Registration is open!

Journey into the heart of Ireland for the cross-quarter fire festival of Beltaine - the beginning of the Celtic summer and the light half of the year. On this journey we will be joining the revelry, music, arts, performances, and ceremonies in both Dingle (County Kerry) and Uisneach (Ireland's sacred and geophysical center in County Westmeath) in the beginning of May. We will be weaving patterns (blessings) at holy wells, stone circles, and other sacred sites in Munster, the wild southwest of Ireland. Additionally, we will participate in a natural plant fiber clothing, woad dying workshop with friends in County Clare - and meet the plants we are dying with. We are going home to Ireland to give back in gratitude and grace.
Celebrate thousands of years of tradition at the Hill of Uisneach.

In this small journey to Ireland, limited to 8-9 people, we will spend our first few days weaving patterns/sharing blessings with the holy wells in central and western County Clare - via song, flower mandalas, and tending. While in Clare, we will be guided in traditional dying of handmade nettle fabric dyed with woad - both plants grown by friends in the months before we arrive.
Winding down the Wild Atlantic Way, we will spend 5 nights in Dingle participating in the annual Beltaine festival and parade. The festival features artists, storytellers, musicians, workshops, crafting, walks, boating, races, and more. We will also spend time in relationship with the mountains, sea, and ancient sites on the peninsula.
A couple of days in the Killarney National Forest in relationship with the ancient forests and a Celtic soundbath to boot, will send us on our way to the Hill of Uisneach for the Beltaine festival at Ireland's naval - and where it has been celebrated for thousands of years.
