Ireland West Camino Community Support
Pilgrims of life across Ireland helping revitalize a dream...

While anyone who is capable of walking can move from point A to point B across a landscape, the beauty of intention and the deeper "why" behind the act of walking the connective line between these points not only tells a richer story of person and place, but also fosters a sense of belonging.
The restoration of the Slí Assail and the Tóchar Phádraig as the Ireland West Camino - The Way of the Sun is powerful, community supported initiative. It would not be possible without the combined efforts of the pilgrim's organizing team through Inchanted Journeys, the Ireland West Camino committee (Jeremy Schewe, Sr. Maureen Lally, Mary Prendergast, and John Cannon), as well as all of the communities, NGO's, businesses, landowners, musicians, seanchaí, and government officials along the way who are standing together in solidarity to help a dream become reality.
We believe in this dream...
